As always, we are grateful for your partnership in ministry with DCC. NOW, more than ever, we believe that prayer is crucial to the spiritual health of Dallas Christian College, its faculty, staff and students, our partners, and the NOW Campaign. Please take a moment to read how God has been answering your prayers and give thanks! We invite you to continue to pray for the exciting opportunities and challenges ahead.

NOW CAMPAIGN MATCHING GIFT CHALLENGE MET

As we shared last month, we are praising God for the generosity of those who continue to invest in the ministry of Dallas Christian College! The $350,000 matching gift challenge that was part of our December/June fundraising effort was met and provided the initial funding to launch the NOW Capital Campaign.

FALL 2022 ENROLLMENT & RETENTION

God continues to bless DCC with good enrollment and retention numbers as we prepare for the new school year. Praise God for His faithfulness and for bringing more workers for the harvest field.

Student Life Center

Decisions have been made regarding the Student Life Center, and the architectural renderings for planned renovations have been shared with our ministry partners. Praise God for leading us through this significant period of growth!

DCC Family Concerns

Pray for the Worley family as they walk through this difficult season. Pray for Mark’s transition from this life to his eternal home. Pray for Caroline’s continued treatment for her cancer and her healing. In addition, pray for the many DCC students who have dealt with family loss and/or health issues the past several months.

NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT

Continue to pray for the DCC Enrollment Management team as they have final conversations and interaction with prospective students who are making decisions about their education plans for this Fall semester. Pray that these students would hear God’s calling on their life and join us in our mission of impacting the world for Christ.

Returning Students

Pray for returning students who are dealing with challenges that may be preventing them from enrolling this semester and continuing their education.

BUDGET AND PERSONNEL DECISIONS

Continue to pray for wisdom and clear direction as President Smith and the DCC Cabinet consider financing options and make budget decisions as part of the NOW Capital Campaign. Pray for guidance on the timing for the Student Life Center renovations. Pray for wisdom and discernment regarding the staff positions that are currently open at the College and need to be filled.

Pray for our ministry partners and their generosity as we move into the new fiscal year. Continue to pray that God would open doors to new ministry partners who have a passion for the mission of Dallas Christian College.
